Our Prayer–A Poem Inspired by FLOW’s Song
FLOW is a group of musicians that come together to create some amazing music while they keep creating independent music and have released multiple albums. As a group, they have released two albums till now.
This poem is inspired by a single of the same name that they created in reply to the wildfires that were raging in Northern California and destroyed much of the beautiful nature.
You can listen to the song here as you enjoy reading the poem:

Our Prayer
Bless us, O Cloud,
With your flower*,
For ours have been
Offered to the fires.
Share a little of what burdens you
And hinders your FLOW
Across the ethereal realm
Of which you are the undisputed king.
We are aflame in yearning;
On the verge of falling down
To receive drops of your liquid love
Which is your very essence.
Wash and replenish
The elements and the pools.
Make us rejoice for an unclear sky
And things looking cloudy.
*In the Sanskrit language, water is also known as ‘flower of clouds.’
